ArtPrize 2024 transformed Grand Rapids, Michigan, into a city-wide gallery from September 13-28, featuring over 1,600 artists from around the world showcasing work in numerous venues, with massive public and juried participation, culminating in nearly $400,000 in prizes, including the Public Vote Grand Prize, solidifying the event’s status as a significant cultural moment with huge public engagement and economic impact

The Hyatt Place Grand Rapids Downtown is a modern, amenity-rich hotel located centrally in downtown GR,  plus proximity to attractions like Van Andel Arena and DeVos Place. Hayatt Place hotel,  participated in the event as a venue for artist installations and offered accommodation to visitors.

Butterfly Effect Project “Immigration” was chosen Among all other arts by Hyatt Place to be displayed in their Lobby hall as their main elected art.
